Daughters of Charity – Haiti, MFH Featured in Global Sisters Report
October 14, 2014 - Sister Gloria Del Carmen Herrera Sixco, who was an honoree at this year's MFH Humanitarian of the Year Awards Dinner celebrating the Daughters of Charity in Haiti, recently talked with Dan Stockman of Global Sisters Report about her missionary work in Haiti. Sister Gloria spoke specifically about the incredible need at the Lucelia Bontemps Clinic in Sibert, Port-au-Prince, and about The Daughters partnership with MFH in Haiti. She told Dan, "Working with Medicines for Humanity is great – it’s a very good and capable collaboration, so we’re able to do more and help more people. The past two years has been a very good experience, to be able to share the work with another organization that has the same interest in helping the most vulnerable."
