Nancy Dyste Christiano Joins Medicines for Humanity Board of Directors
Nancy Dyste Christiano, a proactive leader, visionary, strategic thinker, and public relations expert focusing on national and international business development, has been elected to the Board of Medicines for Humanity (MFH). In this role, she will help guide the strategic direction of the organization and ensure MFH is working to fulfill its mission: to stop the deaths of innocent, vulnerable children in developing countries from illnesses that can be prevented and cured by increasing access to critically-needed healthcare services.
“Nancy’s depth in management and coalition building at the grassroots, state, national and international levels in business and non-profit sectors will certainly be an asset to MFH,” stated Kirk Ryan, MFH Board Chair. “As an influencer, she has access to major corporations, family foundations, and has personal relationships with speakers who focus on peace, justice and sustainability and is instrumental in connecting them to philanthropic organizations, universities, governments and others. We are thrilled to have her on our Board.”
Nancy has participated in fundraising efforts with high profile individuals that include Barbra Streisand, Sir Richard Branson, The Dalai Lama, Charlize Theron, Queen Noor, and Jane Goodall. Over the years, she participated in honoring people of influence including Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, Sting, Glenn Close, Ted Danson and President Bill Clinton. Nancy is a visiting professor at her alma mater Chapman University, where she is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate, holds a BA in Communication Studies and was the recipient of the Most Inspirational Student award.
