Carl J. Rodrigues Joins Medicines for Humanity Board of Directors

Medicines for Humanity (MFH) Board Chair Cordelia “Kirk” Ryan has announced that Carl J. Rodrigues has been elected to serve as a member of the MFH Board of Directors. Mr. Rodrigues is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Harvard Allston Land Company (HALC) where he is responsible for the development of Harvard’s 36-acre Enterprise Research Campus.  Prior to HALC, Carl held several roles for the City of New York and managed and developed City policy and programs focused on equitable economic growth. His roles included serving as the Chief Operating Officer of the New York City Economic Development Corporation and as Chief of Staff to the NYC Deputy Mayor for Housing and Economic Development. Early in his career, Carl worked in residential development in Los Angeles and at Goldman Sachs. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and received his M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Carl is a Chartered Financial Analyst.  

Mr. Rodrigues explained his motivation, “By providing critically needed health services to underserved communities, Medicines for Humanity is giving the gift of life to vulnerable families. I’m honored to be part of an organization that’s committed to improving the health and well-being of children and their mothers.”

When making the announcement, Ms. Ryan stated, “We are delighted that Carl has accepted this position with MFH. We welcome his compassion as well as his professional experience as a leader and his financial expertise.”
